Forum CentreSpace relaunch RMU Competition

September 27, 2017

Following the successful RMU (Retail Merchandising Unit) competition at Sovereign, Boscombe and The Octagon Burton upon Trent, Forum CentreSpace have re-launched their Win an RMU initiative at The Forum Shopping Centre in Wallsend. A popular venue with local shoppers, the Forum has an average footfall of 70,000 per week with a strong emphasis on value-focused retail from high street names such as Superdrug, Iceland, New Look and Boots.

Keen to support local start-up businesses and entrepreneurs, CentreSpace are offering the opportunity for a retailer to showcase and sell their products* from the kiosk completely free of charge for one week (worth £250 + vat).

Caroline Al-Jumaili, Account Director at Forum CentreSpace, says that: "We are keen to encourage entrepreneurial activity on the malls of our schemes.  This is particularly important to us as we specialise in community style shopping centres.  By running these competitions, we provide the local population with an excellent opportunity to test the market for retailing a specific range of products.”
